Free Coaching and Allied Scheme(FCAS)

The Ministry of Rural Development (MoRD) announced the Deen Dayal Upadhyaya Grameen Kaushalya Yojana (DDU-GKY) on Antyodaya Diwas – on 25th September 2014. DDU-GKY is a part of the National Rural Livelihood Mission (NRLM), tasked with the dual objectives of adding diversity to the incomes of rural poor families and catering to the career aspirations of rural youth.

DDU-GKY is uniquely focused on rural youth between the ages of 15 and 35 years from poor families. As a part of the Skill India campaign, it plays an instrumental role in supporting the social and economic programs of the government like the Make In India, Digital India, Smart Cities, and Start-Up India, Stand-Up India campaigns. It is a demand-driven skills training program that is placement-linked. Its two major objectives are: Incorporating diversity into the incomes of rural poor families and Catering to the career aspirations of rural youth. It supports the social and economic programs of the government such as Digital India, Make in India, Smart Cities, Start-up India, and Stand-up India, as part of the Skill India campaign. The youth from rural India face several hurdles in their pursuit of a better life in the form of a lack of formal education and required skills.

Currently, SGRS Academic Pvt. Ltd. is involved with Haryana State Rural Livelihood Mission (HSRLM) for the implementation of the DDU-GKY Project for the state of Haryana. HSRLM has sanctioned a target of 305 beneficiaries for imparting skill training and placement to the rural youth of Haryana State for the job role of Sewing Machine Operator for our training center in Rohtak district.
